We are delighted to bring you further details of our members weekend coming up next month.

This event is FREE to all members, we just ask that you RSVP to let us know that you will be attending. Lunches are included. Full details of the event below.We invite everyone with an interest in the association and the craft to attend. We are eager to hear from you the membership of your vision of the association and we look forward to your input. For those of you who have lapsed memberships or have yet to sign up we will have membership forms onsite on the day so please do come and join us. DSWAI Members Meetup. 23rd & 24th February 2019 Uisneach, Co. Westmeath.

Scheduled of events

Saturday 23rd

  • 9:30 Registration. meet up on site for some walling and casual get together.

  • 11:00 coffee and snacks available at the wall.

  • 13:00 finish up at wall and head to hall for lunch

  • 13:30 - 14:30 Lunch

  • 14:30 - 15:00 Presentation by directors on where the association is at the moment. Some of the DSWAI's achievements to date. Some of our goals for the future and where we are looking for help from the membership.

  • 15:00 - 17:30 round the table discussions and brainstorming (coffees and snacks available throughout the meeting)  

  • 19:00 Members are invited to meet up for dinner for further chats and brainstorming into the night.

Sunday 24th 

  • 10:00 Meet up on site for some walling and casual get together. 

  • 11:30 Coffees and snacks at the wall.

  • 13:00 finish up at wall and head to hall for lunch.

  • 13:30 - 14:30 Lunch and farewells.

Accommodation 
For those of you who wish to say on the Saturday night, we have arranged accommodation locally along with an evening meal. A modest fee will apply (Exact cost to be confirmed). Please RSVP by 2nd of February if you wish to avail of the accommodation and evening meal. RSVP by email to info@dswai.ie 


What to bring

As we will be working outdoors on Saturday and Sunday mornings, please be sure to bring warm clothing and rain gear. Steel toe boots are required, and gloves are also advisable. Bring your ideas and suggestions. We are eager to hear from all of you. As well as open discussions we will also have a suggestion/comments box if you wish to write your suggestions down.

The Hill of Uisneach is located between Mullingar and Athlone on the R390. It is 14km west of Mullingar and 24km east of Athlone. Travel Time from Dublin is 1 hour 15 minutes approx. / 90km. GPS: N 53.48381 / W 007.55606
