DSWAI AGM announced for Saturday 7th March 2020

The Annual General Meeting of The Dry Stone Wall Association of Ireland will take place on Saturday 7th March 2020 at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Athlone from 12.30 to 2pm.

Please confirm attendance as soon as possible as admin need to know numbers well in advance in order to change to a larger room if required.

As members are aware nominations to the Board are welcome at any time during the year by contacting admin at info@dswai.ie

Deadline for applications for election this year is midnight, 20th February, 2020.

The board of directors of the DSWAI is responsible for the development of the organisation and the creation of its vision and mission. As a director you play a key role in creating the strategic direction of the organisation, representing the profession on a national and international level and developing and supporting the development of best practice of drystone walling.

Please note this role is not remunerated.

The DSWAI is particularly interested in applications from, professionals with experience in fundraising, administration, public relations, accounting and strategic planning. Applicants must be able to work as part of a team, independently and/or remotely. To be eligible as a candidate applicants must be a paid up member of DSWAI. Candidates must be supported by 2 paid up members of DSWAI.
