Yesterday was National Drawing Day here in Ireland, organised by the National Gallery of Ireland. Every year, the Gallery—together with dozens of museums, galleries, libraries and cultural organisations all over the island of Ireland—encourages people to get drawing with a jam-packed day of free events for people of all ages. This year the DSWAI decided to get involved and put a call out to the public to 'Draw A Wall' for National Drawing Day, to show the beauty of our Ireland's dry stone heritage. DSWAI Strategic Management Plan 2020 - 2023

The DSWAI AGM was held on March 6th. During the AGM The Draft DSWAI Strategic Management Plan 2020 - 2023 was presented and approved. It is now complete and available to view and download here. The purpose of this strategic plan is to give a focus and direction to the main aims and objectives of The Dry Stone Wall Association of Ireland for the next three years. Within is outlined the background or baseline data for the plan. For example, the brief history of DSWAI to date and any significant points its management and governance. From the implementation of the strategic plan clarity of purpose can be given to the public, membership and management alike which may otherwise not be present.
